Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions event organisers ask before booking a mentalist.

01

The engagements

What makes your engagements different?

My keynotes are keynotes in which I perform mentalism live: the demonstration makes visible what is at play in a decision, a negotiation or a change, then I decode the cognitive mechanism behind it. Before becoming a full-time mentalist, I was an R&D Director and then Managing Director of technology companies (PhD, 100+ patents): I know the world of the people who invite me from the inside. My shows are modern, interactive mentalism: the audience takes part, is amazed, wonders, and leaves with a smile.

What do you offer?

Shows (The Invisible Threads, bespoke show, close-up mentalism and private experience), keynotes and masterclasses, and team building.

For which events?

Seminars, conventions, corporate and end-of-year parties, dinner talks, galas, product launches, weddings and private evenings.

Can the engagement be tailored to our event?

Yes. Themes, messages, values, a product to reveal: every engagement is designed with you beforehand.

Can a show, a keynote and team building be combined?

Yes, over a full day: a keynote in the morning, team building in the afternoon, a show or close-up mentalism in the evening.

02

Duration and audience size

How long does an engagement last?

The Invisible Threads 90 min; bespoke show 10 to 90 min; close-up 30 to 120 min; keynote 45 to 60 min; masterclass 3 hours to a full day; Team Challenge 90 to 120 min; Immersive team building 3 hours to a full day.

For how many people?

Show and keynote from 20 to 1,000+; private experience 5 to 30; masterclass 12 to 25; Team Challenge 10 to 60; Immersive 20 to 120, beyond that on a bespoke basis.

The number of participants is not confirmed yet?

Give me a range and we will adjust the format later.

03

On the day

Will participants be put on the spot?

Never. Mentalism is experienced with kindness: those who join me on stage are volunteers, and everyone leaves with a smile.

What happens to information shared during a demonstration?

It stays in the room. A demonstration relies only on what the person agrees to share; I reveal nothing that could embarrass anyone, and I keep no personal information after the event.

Can we film or take photos?

Only with my agreement, arranged in advance, for your photographer as well as for your social media.

Do you stick to the programme timing?

Yes, the engagement fits the planned time slot.

What equipment is needed?

I bring my own microphone. For a keynote, please provide a screen or projector, and a board. I prefer to use the venue's sound system; if there is none, I bring my own. For a show, I need very little: whatever the venue allows, otherwise my own sound system. A technical rider comes with my proposal.

In English? Remotely?

In English or in French. A keynote, like an event, can also take place by video call.

Booking

Where do you perform?

Across the west of France, everywhere in France and internationally.

How far in advance should we book?

The earlier you contact me, the more choice of dates you have and the more time to shape an engagement to your needs, especially for end-of-year parties and January events, the most requested dates. A last-minute request is always worth it: if I am available, I come.

What budget should we plan?

It depends on the format, duration, venue and level of customisation. The quote is free, with a reply within 48 hours.

How do we book?

Through the contact form, by email at contact@jeromeviro.com, by phone on +33 6 16 13 55 89, or by booking a 20-minute video call.
